I was born in Italy in 1976, I have a degree in Telecommunication Engineering and I work as consultant in Information Technologies. I have many hobbies, sport, trekking, music and the photography. I begun to follow this last one many years ago, when I was a teenager, but just in 2007 I started to expect more from my pictures. In 2006 I got my first analogical reflex, a Nikon F65, and in 2007 I switched to digital with a Nikon D40X, and now I’m using a Canon 50D.

For a long time I’ve been taking photos in a soft manner, without thinking about light, composition and so on, but then I realized that was not enough for me, so I begun to study on some books, but yet I was not satisfied. In April my photographic life changed...

In that period I was very lucky because I met Pietro Cenini, a professional photographer of world-wide renown, and after I followed his lessons I completely changed my approach to the camera. I think Pietro isn’t just an excellent photographer, both on technical and theoretical level, but he also has a great capacity to spread the beauty of photography through his words. I actually follow his refresher courses because of the awesome passion he can transmit.

By nature I prefer portrait photography, even if that’s not my only focus, but I’m trying to sweep the various kinds of photography. Since photography is not my only hobby, I try to combine it with the others, like naturalistic photography, as you can see in the photo galleries. I think this is a great exercise for me and I think that it helps the website being less boring :).

Now I’m getting exited about the naturalistic photography, but I must say that a good shot is very difficult to take. There are many reasons for this choice, and the first is that this way I can do everything by myself, even if it means lying down and waiting for hours or getting up very early in the morning, ‘cause it is very helpful for me.

In August 2009 I had the luck to meet Juza, a great naturalistic photographer, and to have a share in one of his workshop of macro-photography and landscapes. Even if very young, he is a great background both on photographic and technologic level, and after his explanation I had to say that I could see the results.

The first time I thought about a web site was in 2007, I wanted to show the landscapes seen during my hikes in the mountains, but the work has been stuck for a long time. Now I decided to complete the work. This web site is all made by myself, because I hate all kind of ads, and because I think on a photography web site our eyes must see only photos.

This site has the Italian and the English version, and this means that the effort to update it is very hard, because I must write first in Italian and then in English, so I must write the same page twice :).

I would like to thank Daniela (my English teacher), who helped translating all sections of the web site and Fabio for the his great contribution to the home page of the web site. Besides, I want to thank my family who’s always been close to me and, the last but not the least, my few, but great, friends who supported me for this site. Thank you all :)
